8-2-2017 NHL All-Star Skill Competitions
The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.
Team North America won the puck control relay with a team of Sidney Crosby, Patrick Kane and Alex Galchenyuk.
Sidney Crosby of Team North America won the fastest skater competition, beating Filip Forsberg in the final.
John Carlson of Team North America won the hardest shot competition with a result of 86 MPH, beating Victor Hedman in the final.
Evgeni Malkin of Team World won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Sam Reinhart in the final.
Carey Price of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Sergei Bobrovsky in the final.
Team North America won the breakaway relay with a team of Sidney Crosby, Alex Galchenyuk and Phil Kessel.
The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.
