14-2-2017 NHL All-Star Skill Competitions
The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.
Team North America won the puck control relay with a team of P.K. Subban, Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane.
P.K. Subban of Team North America won the fastest skater competition, beating Daniel Sedin in the final.
Alex Ovechkin of Team World won the hardest shot competition with a result of 90 MPH, beating Evander Kane in the final.
Sidney Crosby of Team North America won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Jakub Voracek in the final.
Braden Holtby of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Tuukka Rask in the final.
Team World won the breakaway relay with a team of Alex Ovechkin, Erik Karlsson and Evgeni Malkin.
The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.
