The annual All-Star event kicked off today with the skill competitions. Team North America and Team World competed in six different races and the fans got to see their stars shine.
Team World won the puck control relay with a team of David Pastrnak, Aleksander Barkov and Leon Draisaitl.
Alexis Lafrenire of Team North America won the fastest skater competition, beating Andrei Svechnikov in the final.
Sidney Crosby of Team North America won the hardest shot competition with a result of 85 MPH, beating Evgeni Malkin in the final.
David Pastrnak of Team World won the accuracy shooting competition, beating Johnny Gaudreau in the final.
Carter Hart of Team North America won the goalie competition (pass&score), beating Tuukka Rask in the final.
Team World won the breakaway relay with a team of David Pastrnak, Leon Draisaitl and Aleksander Barkov.
The yearly clash between Team North America and Team World will take place tomorrow.
